βJesus Loves You
β
"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
- 1 Peter 5:7
β
Jesus understands the sting and pain of this life. We live in an imperfect world with imperfect people who are not perfect. But, rest assured - Jesus' love for you is perfect. No matter who is not kind to you, or what situations hurt you - Jesus would never be unkind to you. He was hurt for you, so that you can be healed.
Heavenly Father,
Please heal our hearts from the pains of this life. Thank you for your love.
In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

βGod Is With You
β
βHave not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed:for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.β
- Joshua 1:9
β
God never leaves His children. We are the ones that leave Him. He loves us all collectively, yet individually. So, no matter where you find yourself, no matter how lonely you feel - you are not alone, because Jesus is right there.
Heavenly Father,
Please help us and cause our hearts to truly believe that You are with us. Please bury that deep in hour hearts, right now.
In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

βGratefulness
β
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
- 1 Thessalonians 5:18
β
Sometimes, it's easy to feel annoyed and irked by people and situations, but let's also remember the blessings God already gave. And when we thank Him even in adverse circumstances, we can see that He has a greater purpose.
Heavenly Father,
Please help us to hold onto the blessings that You've given us. We place in Your hands the things that bring us down and ask that You'd take care of them.
In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

βYou're Who God Says You Are
β
"For the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart."
- 1 Samuel 16:7
β
Sometimes people make snap judgements. They might think they understand something when they don't. Life is hardly always simple, and some people are complex. To misunderstand is human. While life can feel unfair and hurtful, let's release hurt and anger to God. Also, while people - even family - may judge or compare you to others - their criteria are not always reflective of your worth. But God sees intrinsic things like kindness, compassion, selflessness, integrity, courage, and quiet strength deep in the heart. So let God be the One to define you. May you find some rest in that truth.
Heavenly Father,
We forgive all those who hurt us, and we release all offense, regardless of whether they hurt through their words or actions, and whether they were a stranger, foe, or family member. Help us because we *cannot* do it on our own. We ask for peace for our hearts and minds.
In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

βF.A.I.T.H. = Forwarding All Issues To Heaven
β
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."
- 2 Corinthians 5:7
When Jesus has promised you something, He will never fail you. So when the storms of life come and they leave your heart feeling anxious, and nervous - don't doubt what God said. We need to keep holding onto that truth; no matter what others say, no matter what we think, no and matter what your life looks like. Have faith in God.
Heavenly Father,
Please remove doubt and fear and instill faith in our hearts. You can be trusted with all things, God.
In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

βYou Must Forgive Others
β
"But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
- Matthew 6:15
No one can go to heaven if they have not truly forgiven. Life is not fair, and people are not perfect, but God is good, and He is perfect. If that should help you a tiny bit to take your focus off of what people have done to you, then I implore you to let them go; people owe us nothing. That's right. Not even kindness. People didn't die for you, they didn't carry you when you were falling apart, and definitely they do not love you with a perfect love. May you let go of the anger and hurt to God, and be set free.
Heavenly Father,
Please remove any bitterness, hatred, resentment, anger, unforgiveness that we have in our hearts towards anyone, even ourselves. Please cast them all into the pits of hell. We declare and release them. We ask You to give us a clean heart, and a heart that is focused on You - on how YOU love us, how YOU care, how YOU died for us, how YOU are the only One who is there for us when no one else was there. And You'll always be there, God. You are here, God. You are beautiful, true, gentle, strong, and kind. We cannot enter if we cannot forgive. Heal us, Lord, and set us free right now.
In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

βJust Be Held in His Arms
β
βAnd even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.β
- Isaiah 64:4
When babies cry because they're little, helpless, hungry, or because they're being babies, their parents hold, comfort them, feed and take care of them. Let's be like that and allow God to provide, help, and care for us. I'm not saying we should sit around and do nothing, but at some point ... we have to give up the toiling, the worrying - and let God be God.
Heavenly Father,
Please cause us to know that You truly do carry us. That we are only safe, alive, and breathing - all because of You. That You are really in control. Even when it doesn't feel like it. There is never a moment that You are not in control.
In Jesus' Mighty Name, I pray. Amen.

βIf You Ever Feel Overwhelmed ...
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.β
- Galatians 6:9
Has God called you to something that He wants for you to do? Maybe God has called you to step out with faith in Him and write a book, start a YouTube channel, start a business, project, ministry, or something else. Have you ever not started or didn't stay consistent because you felt intimidated by something you've never done before? Or overwhelmed? I understand the feeling, but if you'll stick with it, you will be relieved you didn't give up. If it feels like too much at once, then don't do it all at once! Make a plan, and set little goals. Just do things day by day. It helps to calm me down when I write goals in my planner and plan day by day, over a course of months.
Heavenly Father,
Please help us and remove any laziness, overwhelm, anxiety and/or fear of completing assignments that You've given us. IΒ pray that You take away the stress and replace it with a beautiful, light peace.
In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

βLove One Another
"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."
- John 13:34
What does it mean to love with God's love? Love is patient, kind, and longsuffering. It is compassionate and does not get angered easily. Love looks at someone through eyes of compassion and seeks to serve, to help. We are not perfect people, and sometimes we act from selfishness and the flesh. No one is perfect but Jesus. If there have been times when you regret not having been kind or patient enough, forgive yourself. God's love is about being helpful to others, especially to the people in our lives. In what ways do you think you can you show a family member, neighbor, etc. the love of God? In what ways can we lighten others' burdens?
Heavenly Father,
Please forgive us for the times when we have been short-tempered, and not very loving. Help us to look at people with compassion - not at their faults and shortcomings - but to see them as human beings also trying to just survive this world. Pour Your love into our hearts so we can be blessings to those around us.
In Jesus' Mighty Name, I pray. Amen.

βFocus on Who, not How
"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."
- Matthew 19:26
β
If you're worried and restless about the future, your finances, a relationship, a job, a health issue, or anything that keeps you feeling heavy, let me encourage you to focus on Jesus. The more we look at the circumstances, the mountains, the obstacles, we magnify them. But let's remember that Jesus is greater than any problem. He Himself defeated death. What can He not do? He can help bring miracles, provision, healing, etc. ... He is God!
Heavenly Father,
Please help us to lay down our cares at the cross, and obtain peace in exchange. There is absolutely nothing too much for You to handle. I pray for the person going through a hardship to find rest in God's ability. It's not about how they can traverse the storm, it's about the One who can overcome it ... every time.
In Jesus' Unfailing Name, I pray. Amen.

βGod's Mercies are New Each Morning
"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
- Lamentations 3:22-23
If you feel discouraged or defeated because maybe you set a goal for yourself that you didn't meet, or maybe you feel like you've made so many mistakes and your life or situation is hopeless, well - God's Word says that His mercies are new each morning. His mercies never run out for you! There is always hope for you because of Jesus. You can start again with God and let Him help you in all your weaknesses, struggles, worries, fears, doubts. Just give it all to Him because HE is strong enough.

βShow Yourself Compassion
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.β
- 2 Corinthians 12:9
Have you ever made a mistake and then felt so bad about it and it maybe it even brought you to tears? Maybe you didn't mean to hurt anyone but you said something harsh to a loved one and regretted it, maybe someone hurt you deeply and as a result you lashed out in anger and felt guilty and ashamed afterwards. IΒ want to let you know that Jesus heals. Don't replay the moment endlessly in your head. Forgive yourself. You're human. You are not perfect. No one is. Only Jesus is perfect. So next time you make a mistake, remember to ask God to show you how to give Him the hurt and also, show yourself compassion.

βJesus is Your Rescuer
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.β
- Psalm 46:1
When you feel like you are just done, ready to give up - and you've been fighting for so long ... when the road has been so long and wearisome, and you can barely pray ... when you feel hurt and don't want to go on ... Don't you ever let yourself forget that God is Your Rescuer. When tears flow from your heart, He will catch your tears and sing a song of healing to your heart. Here is a beautiful song to encourage you: "Rescue" by Jordan St. Cyr
