Beside Still Waters
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.”

In times when our hearts are troubled and we feel restless, when it gets a little harder to breathe - let's remember that God is here. He leads us to a place of rest, no matter what is happening all around. Let us learn to rest in that love.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I pray that You would help us not to look to circumstances or surroundings, but to You alone. Please touch our minds and hearts to look up to You. We can't do this, but You can. Please help us. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

New Mercies
"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."

God is kind and understanding. So when you're feeling tired and weak from life's burdens, you can bring your heaviness and lay it all on Jesus. Ask Him to help you, and when you've done all you can - let Him carry You. Let His mercy gently cover you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I pray for the person who is feeling tired and discouraged. I pray that You would lift them up and comfort their heart. Wrap Your Arms around them and help them to be still and know that You are God. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Do Not Be Afraid
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
- 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
Fear is something everyone struggles with at times. But when we anchor ourselves in God’s truth, we remember that He fights for us, is the strength in our weakness, and He is greater than any fear. We have a choice: to live in fear or to walk in faith, trusting in the promises of God. He says that all things are possible with Him, He will fight for us, He will help us, that He is merciful. We choose to believe either the voice of hope or the voice of doubt.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I pray for the person dealing with fear. I know that sometimes fear can feel strong, but God - nothing is stronger than You. I command that fear to go back to the pits of hell and I ask for Your peace to enter this person's heart. Please help us to believe when we are struggling. Encourage our hearts! Thank you. In Jesus' loving Name, I pray. Amen.

Don't Stop Praying
"O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him."

Maybe you've got something that's heavy on your heart. Maybe you carry burdens that you don't speak of. Maybe you're concerned about a loved one. You can bring your burdens to the feet of Jesus. He is kind, strong, and He is able and willing to help you. He loves you with a perfect love. No matter how long it takes or what we're facing, let's keep praying to a God who listens and cares.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I pray that You would encourage the hearts that need to hear this. I pray for comfort and strength. Please help us to press into prayer even when things look bleak and discouraging. We don't understand why things unfold the way that they do, but help us to trust in Your promises, because there is nothing too hard for you. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

God is Your Protector
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

In a world that is full of evil and darkness, God is greater than all that is going on and He is our Protector. Nothing is more powerful than Him. He is the God that answers to no one. He has no enemy, and He has no equal. He is incomprehensibly strong and He is able to deliver us from the enemy's tactics. If you feel anxiety or fear creep in, take comfort in His promises of protection, today. Pray to Him and have faith. He is worthy to be trusted.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I pray for the precious Blood of Jesus to cover us and our loved ones. I pray that You would cover us in Psalm 91. I thank You that no harm or evil shall befall us, and that You will keep us safe from all diseases, sickness, devastation, and all evil. In Jesus' Powerful Name, I pray. Amen.

God is Able
“Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.”

The God who created heaven and earth is the same God that holds you and me in His hands. Trust that no matter what is weighing on your heart and mind - He is strong enough to handle. We can give Him all our worries and cares, because we are not meant to carry them. God cares about your concerns. Whether you are worried about your health, finances, family, or whatever it may be ... God knows about it. You do not have to carry all your burdens alone. Let's learn to depend on God. As we do what He has given us the ability to do, let's rest in His love and trust Him to do what we cannot.

Heavenly Father,
I pray for the precious person reading that You would please bring comfort and encouragement to him or her, in a way that only You can. Please help this person to know that You are always there for him/her, and that You are a powerful and loving God who wants to help us. May You give this individual peace that surpasses all understanding, to know how much he/she is loved by You! In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
