Bible Verses on Sin and Hell

(Note: Just so you know, these verses are from the King James Version (KJV) Bible, which I’ve used here because it’s in the Public Domain and free for use. The KJV is a great translation that stays true to the original Hebrew and Greek, but if the Old English sounds a bit difficult to understand, you’re not alone!! For Bible study, I mainly use the English Standard Version (ESV), so I’d recommend that as well)

🌷 Romans 3:23 – "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."‍

🌷 Romans 6:23
– "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."‍

🌷 1 John 1:8-9 – "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.‍

🌷 Mark 9:43 – "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched."‍

🌷 Matthew 25:41 – "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels."‍

🌷 Revelation 20:10 – "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."‍

🌷 Revelation 21:8 – "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."‍
