Bible Verses on Identity

(Note: Just so you know, these verses are from the King James Version (KJV) Bible, which I’ve used here because it’s in the Public Domain and free for use. The KJV is a great translation that stays true to the original Hebrew and Greek, but if the Old English sounds a bit difficult to understand, you’re not alone!! For Bible study, I mainly use the English Standard Version (ESV), so I’d recommend that as well)

🌷 Romans 8:16-17 – "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."‍

β€πŸŒ· 1 John 3:1 – "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."‍
