‍Hope Again

Have you been feeling discouraged? Scared to believe? Maybe, you're afraid of being disappointed? Are there been things you've been praying for but feel like they would never come to pass, so you've given up, in a way? I have been there. I remember years ago - I had a pink and white journal where I would write down my dreams and heart's desires, but after so much hoping just to be let down ... every ... time - I still recall throwing the journal on the ground, stomping on it out of hurt and anger, and I walked away for some time. But those desires were placed in my heart by God, and I couldn't give up. Let Jesus restore your hope, again.

‍Don't Be Afraid

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
- Isaiah 41:10

Is there something you know God has put on your heart but you feel intimidated to start? Is there a job, a situation that you feel afraid of? Maybe you've heard this so many times, but as God's children, we are called to live unafraid. That doesn't mean we should pretend to not feel fear. It means that God gives victory over that fear and He tells us that fear is not of God (2 Timothy 1:7). He has also given us authority (Luke 10:19) to speak to the spirit of fear to tell it to leave and go back to the pits of hell, in Jesus' Name. So don't be afraid, because God will help you. Do you believe that He will?

‍I Shall Not Die

"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord."

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the beautiful scriptures of life and mercy. We ask for Your forgiveness of our sins and we forgive anyone who's offended us; we release every offense. We plead the Powerful Blood of Jesus over ourselves and those we love and we cover them in Psalm 91; we declare that no evil will befall us and no harm nor disease will touch us. We command all demons of death, fear, sickness, infirmities, and evil to leave forever and go back to the pits of hell. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper; we cancel and send every attack back to sender, and every tongue that rises up against us in judgement we will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Because it is written (Matthew 4:4). And we declare every curse over our lives and the lives of our loved ones completely nullified by the Blood of the Lamb. We forbid any evil spirits to come anywhere remotely near our houses, work places, and properties (Luke 10:19), and we command every retaliatory, every evil spirit to bow to Jesus and go straight back to hell (Mark 5:10). In Jesus' Name. It is finished.

‍God Will Not Fail You

"Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."

Those deep desires in your heart? Those desires that you just can't ignore even if you tried? God plants deep, holy desires in our hearts and He has every intention of bringing them to pass. He will not forget what He has promised You. He is a God that will not let you down. From the biggest details to the very minute - His love covers it all. So come to Him and find your hope.

‍God Requires Us To Work Hard

Heavenly Father,
You have called us to be industrious, and not lazy or complacent. I break off every slothful spirit and command it to leave and never return. I ask that You'd help us to do what You've commanded us to do, even if we have to take baby steps, and focus one ... day ... at a time. With You by our side, we can plan ahead and be faithful in our assignments. Jesus is coming very soon.

‍God Knows What He's doing

Heavenly Father,
Sometimes it's easy to be discouraged when we feel pressure and stress. Our situations can make us feel like You're against us, but God - You are FOR us. You allow pressure for a reason - sometimes to deepen our trust in You. Will we trust You when life is not easy, when we see no way out? Will we doubt Your provision, love, and wisdom? Or, will we trust that You're teaching us something? When we've prayed and cried and have done what we could, will we trust that ... God's got this? I pray for those who are under stress, who are right on the edge of giving up. God, You have a plan and I pray that You would intervene quickly for them.

‍God is a Promise Keeper

Heavenly Father,
We thank You that when You make a promise to us, You honor that. You do not go back on a word because of Your integrity. You have a perfect track record. You are a Perfect Father and You do not change. Please help us to hold tightly onto what You've spoken, and to not let the voice in our minds and hearts make us doubt You. Because You are so true. For the Bible says that our hearts are deceitful but God is faithful.

‍Focus on the Truth

Heavenly Father,
I pray that You would please help us to focus on things that bring hope. Help us to hold onto what You've shown us. We will hope in You and look to You instead of these temporal circumstances because while our situations may bring us down, You will never let us down.

‍Let Go of the Weight That Isn't Yours

Sometimes when we have deep empathy and are sensitive to others’ feelings, we feel the need to carry burdens that are not ours to carry because we don’t want to disappoint anyone. Pity can make you feel obligated. Guilt can make you force or fake feelings. God did not call you to be responsible for everyone’s feelings. Be gentle with yourself. Release the weight and be set free.

‍God Comforts Us

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for showing us compassion. We are weak but You are strong. Please comfort our hearts and give us peace within uncertainty. We choose to look up to You and not to these temporary struggles. Because no trial, no hurt, no thing - is greater than Your love.

Has the pain of life ever brought you down so much so that you couldn't even speak? And you just sit there in the emptiness, way past the point of being tired? I know what it's like to be more than done. It's easy to question why God would allow certain things to happen. But know this: God won't waste your pain. In fact, He was wounded for you. So that you can be made unbroken.

‍God Loves You

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We know that You love us, but truth sometimes we don't allow that truth to reach deep down into our hearts. We believe with our minds, but we don't actually believe it. I pray that You would help us to know how deeply You care for us. Let Your love wash away every fear, worry, and sorrow.

‍Have faith in God

Sometimes we are faced with mountains, and it feels like in our own strength we succumb to those pressures. But we don't have to be discouraged because God is able to move mountains and do the impossible in our lives! He can make a way where we don't see a way, and He can create rivers in the dessert. His Word says so and He is no liar. Our situations may look hopeless but let's look to The King - and find hope

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please remove from us any discouragement and help us to trust You.

‍Seek God first and He will take care of you

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

How beautiful it is that we serve a God that is trustworthy and who never breaks His promises. God has promised that if we seek His Will and focus on Him, then He will take care of our needs. We don't have to worry about how we will get food, how we will be able to pay for the roofs over our heads, how we will be able to afford bills, how we will provide for family, and things like that. We can be busy with the Father's Kingdom - a Kingdom that will never end. We can trust that He can handle the things that we can't - if we will just do our part and let God be God!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I pray that You would help us to do what we are called to do in this life, knowing that time is short and Jesus is coming back soon. Help us not to worry about earthly things, help us to work hard and be consistent - not lazy, help us in our jobs and businesses to do a good job. We thank You for Your provision and strength.

‍With God all things are possible

When we come before God's throne in prayer, we can lay our requests down, knowing that if those things are in alignment with His Word, He is more than able to bring them to pass. God knows what's best for us. He give us the desire of our hearts (like Psalm 37 says). Let's trust that God can do miracles in our lives, because He loves us and cares about the things that we care about.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I ask that You would please increase our faith and encourage our hearts to know that there is nothing too hard for You. Help us to believe. Thank You for Your love.

‍God is faithful

God is faithful, and He keeps His promises. His Word was given to us for correction, guidance, help, and comfort. He always does what He says. He always keeps His promises. We can take God at His Word, always.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for giving us beautiful promises that we can hold onto, even when things may look bleak or unpromising. We know that You are our hope that never fails. Help us to stand firm in the truth, no matter what happens, because You are trustworthy.

‍Jesus loves you

May you never forget that even in your pain, your weaknesses, your thoughts, your doubts, your worries - Jesus loves you. No pain, no depth, no heartache - nothing can outrun, can outlast the love of God. Come lay at Jesus' feet and find your rest.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for healing for those whose hearts are shattered, heavy, and weary. Thank you for Your mercy. Just thank You, Jesus. Thank you for all YOUR kindness.

‍Fall into Jesus' arms

Today as I was spending time with God, the song "Fall into the Arms of Jesus" by Cade Thompson came into my mind. How often it is that we forget Jesus is right there with us. We don't walk alone. And we don't have to go alone. God longs to be of comfort and help to those who depend on Him. His arms are strong yet gentle.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please help us to just fall into Your arms. I bind every anxiety, fear, and worry. I ask that You would uphold us with Your love. Because You are with us. Like a Mighty Warrior.

‍God gives wisdom to those tho ask

God is a good Heavenly Father and He is for us. He wants us to make the right choices that will lead to peace. Sometimes, we get caught in our emotions and we don't think clearly. In those moments, it's best to just be still and seek God so He can show us the right thing to say and do. Sometimes, it's best to be silent if we aren't sure. God promises to give wisdom to those who ask, so let us ask with faith.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Sometimes it's hard to know what to do in every situation, but You promise to help guide us. I pray that You'd give us wisdom and help us to be still enough so we can listen and hear from You.

God is kind, and He understands that life is not easy. In all our pain, in all our troubles, in all of the cares of concerns of life, we can take it to the feet of the One who died for us and rose back to life.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please help us to trust You. Please help us in our weakness. When we are weak, You are strong. When we cannot, You can. Thank You for always being there for us.

‍New mercies

God is kind and understanding. So when you're feeling tired and weak from life's burdens, you can bring your heaviness and lay it all in Jesus' hands. His hands are strong and mighty. Ask Him to help you, and when you've done all you can - let Him just carry You.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for the person who is feeling tired and discouraged. I pray that You would lift them up and comfort their heart. Wrap Your Arms around them and help them to be still and know that You are God.

‍Do not be afraid

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

Fear is something everyone struggles with at times. But when we anchor ourselves in God’s truth, we remember that He fights for us, He's the strength in our weakness, and He is greater than any fear. We have a choice: to live in fear or to walk in faith, trusting in the promises of God. He says that all things are possible with Him, and that He cares for us. We can choose to believe either the voice of hope or the voice of doubt.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for the person dealing with fear. I know that sometimes fear can feel strong, but God - nothing is stronger than You. I command that fear to go back to the pits of hell and I ask for Your peace to enter this person's heart. Please help us to believe when we are struggling. Encourage our hearts! Thank you.

Don't stop praying

Maybe you've got something that's heavy on your heart. Maybe you carry burdens that you don't speak of. Maybe you're concerned about a loved one. You can bring your burdens to the feet of Jesus. He is kind, strong, and He is able and willing to help you. He loves you with a perfect love. No matter how long it takes or what we're facing, let's keep praying to a God who listens and cares.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that You would encourage the hearts that need to hear this. I pray for comfort and strength. Please help us to press into prayer even when things look bleak and discouraging. We don't understand exactly why things unfold the way that they do, but help us to trust in Your promises, because there is nothing too hard for You.

God is your Protector

In a world that is full of evil and darkness, God is greater than all that is going on. Nothing is more powerful than Him. He is the God that answers to no one. He has no enemy, and He has no equal. We live in a broken world that does not honor Him, therefore there is evil. He is incomprehensibly strong and He is able to deliver us from the enemy's traps and attacks. Have you accepted Christ as Savior? Do you believe that He can protect you? Just humbly pray to Him and have faith.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for the precious Blood of Jesus to cover us and our loved ones. I pray that You would cover us in Psalm 91. I thank You that no harm or evil shall befall us, and that You will keep us safe from all diseases, sickness, devastation, and all evil.

God is able

“Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.”

The God who created heaven and earth is the same God that holds you and me in His hands. Trust that no matter what is weighing on your heart and mind - He is strong enough to handle. We can give Him all our worries and cares, because we are not meant to carry them. God cares about your concerns. Whether you are worried about your health, finances, family, or whatever it may be ... God knows. Let's learn to depend on God. As we do what He has given us the ability to do, let's rest in His love and trust Him to do what we cannot.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for anyone reading that You would please bring comfort and encouragement to them in a way that only You can. Please help them to know that You are always there for them, and that You are a powerful and loving God. May You give this person peace that surpasses all understanding.
