Bible Verses on Forgiveness

(Note: Just so you know, these verses are from the King James Version (KJV) Bible, which I’ve used here because it’s in the Public Domain and free for use. The KJV is a great translation that stays true to the original Hebrew and Greek, but if the Old English sounds a bit difficult to understand, you’re not alone!! For Bible study, I mainly use the English Standard Version (ESV), so I’d recommend that as well)

🌷 Ephesians 4:32 – "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

🌷 Matthew 6:14-15
– "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

β€πŸŒ· Matthew 18:21-22 – "Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."‍

🌷 1 John 1:9 – "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."‍

β€πŸŒ· Mark 11:25 – "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses."‍‍‍
